Hi Sam,

When you say RMA the device are you meaning the PSU or the switch?

You mentioned seeing similar issues, was this with the switch or PSU/Fan?

Thanks,

Martin.

Hi,

We have an issue with a VSP-7400-48Y-8C where we cannot get a 2nd PSU to physically fit in the bay.
The switch was ordered as a 'bundle' and came with 1x XN-ACPWR-750W-F PSU, and we ordered a 2nd XN-ACPWR-750W-F PSU for resilience.
We've followed the hardware install guide about fitting PSU's but we just don't seem to be able to get the 2nd PSU installed.
The PSU slides down the bay but sits about 30mm proud and just doesn't seem to want to go fully in.
We know its up the right way and it's the correct part.
Has anyone had a similar issue, or is there something we're missing?

Thanks.

Hi Martin, I found some similar cases from this summer, and unfortunately I think the only fix is to RMA the device. We have fixed the issue with the fan assembly alignment since then, so the new device you get from the RMA should not have this issue. Hope that helps!

Sorry, should have been more specific, I mean RMA the PSU. The issue was with the PSU specifically.
