Yes, you can connect a sender (and/or clients) to an FA proxy switch, as long as the VLAN is extended to the FA-Server and the VLAN is MC bridged or routed there.

Roger

Hi All,

Is it possible to connect Multicast Sender (i.e. IP-Camera) to an EXOS-Device which is acting as a FA-Proxy? Multicast is predefined in FA-Server (VSP-Switch).

Regards Ralf

Hi Ralf,

I never tested it on FA/EXOS but I don’t see any issue with that.

Mig
