topic VSP 7254XSQ connected ISIS SPBM : change clock time impact ? in ExtremeSwitching (VSP/Fabric Engine)

Hi,

we have 4 VSP 7254XSQ connected ISIS -SPBM.
Only one VSP is well synchronized with the time .
The others have an offset. And one VSP, NTP is not active.

My question is simple.
Is there an impact if all 4 VSPs are not up to date with the time? If I now activate the NTP for the one that is not up to date, will there be a problem?
Basically, can the NTP conf be handled without any problem in production?
thank you for your help.

There is no impact on setting the clock or configuring NTP. The change is dynamic, and new messages in the log file will jump to the new timestamp.

Perhaps the only thing to be careful of, in case your clock jumps ahead by months or even years.. is if you have password aging set for the local usernames on the VSP switch.
