Hi everybody,

I'm having a nightmare trying to find relevant information about AP support in the 6GHz band.

As happened with the 5GHz band, different countries adopt their own rules for channels, power, DFS usage, and types of external antennas.

Now with 6GHz, in addition to channels and power, we have to deal with LPI, SP, and AFC, and the possibility of using external antennas or not.

For those who work on indoor projects, it's relatively easy to learn what applies and "works," but when you're working on designing outdoor environments, things change, particularly if you're not in the US/Canada.

I have a proposal: Provide a tool, similar to: https://optics.extremenetworks.com, to validate the compliance table of each AP.

I know that internal tables exist, and that's how the XIQ-C is "fed."

Imported Compliance Table 63 dated on 2025-07-22 (HOS_Power_Settings_V0.xlsx/CLM_Cloud_master_v_17.1.6.0.xlsx)
Imported Compliance Table 24 dated on 2025-08-06 (HOS_Advanced_Power_Settings_V0.xlsx/CLM_Cloud_master_v_17.1.7.0.xlsx)

So, how difficult is it to convert this into a dynamic website where this information is available to EVERYONE (Users, Partners, SEs)?

Is this only useful for me, or are there other users and colleagues who find this important?

Thanks,

Raúl Carbonari
