New out of the box ap305c version 10.4r3 not supported by CloudIq.
ap305c not down gradable to a firmware that is supported by the Cloudiq version we run.

We downgraded the upgraded CloudIq, but had to roll back because new ppsk failed to upload.

i guess you use the IQVA in version: 21.1.21.11-IQVA. Is that correct?

Ah ok. The new version already. Actually i have no system with this version to test the issue.

But an interesting information can be found in the release notes...

We have about 900 ap305c running fine on 10.3.4.0,
Only the new batch does not work.

So back onto the climbing ladder, and up with the Aerohive 320's.
After that I will read about "The Universal Access Point".

Yes, that's right. I also have many 305Cs running in 10.3.3 and 10.3.4.

But in the release notes you can see how poorly the IQVA is handled by Extreme.

I could save 3 ap's without falling from a ladder:

It is just this 'Not allowed' that keeps CloudIq from pushing configuration.
So select complete batch of config commands in cloudiq and push / paste via ssh to the AP.
After that partial config upload, because ppsk are all masked as ****
Et voila: Some happy wifi users.

Somehow those 3 ap305c now report 10.3r5 ... an image I cannot even download from ExtremeNetworks web site.

I should never have told Ed Meyercord to by Aerohive, my bad!

Hi Leo!

There is a new hardware generation with a new TPM Chip. This new hardware cannot run with a version older than 10.3r5.

IQE v10.3r5 is supported by IQVA v21.1.22.1 and later releases.

But you are right, i'm searching for a download too.
