Brand new to Extreme Wireless...some help may be needed

Hello-

Brand new to extreme wireless after spending my career mostly messing with Cisco and a little bit of Ruckus. Purchased a second-hand AP122 and am trying to get it going with CloudIQ to start using it to learn more of the extreme platform (home user, not enterprise related), but I'm having a couple issues.

1.) The AP I have is on aerohive SW, 8.1r2a. Is there some place I can get updated software?

2.) When trying to add to Extremecloud IQ, I get an error that the AP I have is associated to another VIQ. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi Joe,

I've experienced #2 from your list and had to open a ticket with Extreme's support. Assuming that you have a license for the AP, then once you get it onboarded within Extremecloud IQ, the software updates will all be available.
