I saw it on the default radio profile ac template(radio_ng_ac0), does ap230 support smart antenna and MU-MIMO?

what benefit do smart antenna offer?

To answer your question specifically though AP230’s do not support it, and enabling smart antenna turns off MU-MIMO. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an instance where it’s been enabled however!

Hi,

Didn’t play with it but it sounds like a proprietary TxBF attempt. Either phase manipulation like in MU-MIMO ie. don’t do that, or physical antenna array manipulation such as with one of competitive vendors, then it’s a pity it’s only on 250 and 550. 😉

MU-MIMO is a no-go besides home environment with few devices.
