ACL Restrictions on 7100-series

whats the restrictons for ACLs on the 7100-series?

we try to config round about 240 ACL-rules and we cannot configure more than 180 rules - but the "show" commands displays 249/1000 possible IPV4 rules:

IPV4 Rules = 249

or

Chassis limits:Application Limit In use Entry size Total Memory
-------------------------------- --------- --------- ------------ ------------
access-lists 256 9 125K 31.3M
access-list-entries 1000 180 160B 156.4K

any ideas?

8.62.x Release Notes confirm what CLI also tells:

Open a GTAC Case to clarify and fix that issue !

yes - I see these limits - but why we can configure only 180 ACL lines and not 256 as described?

These question can only be answered by the developer.

Your way to development for you is through GTAC ....
