Hello Giuseppe,

If you are receiving an "Access Rejected" error, then that is good. The test button in the WLAN Service is designed to test the communication to Radius and not authenticate a user. There are no credentials passed to radius only a test user name that is expected to receive an error.

Regards,
Hi Guiseppe,

on Windows Server, did you install the active directory certificate authority? I think you need this Windows Role too, and of course a valid server certificate.

best regards
Hello Giuseppe,

the default configuration of NPS ist empty. You have to define network policies to use authentications like PEAP or EAP-TLS for wireless clients. Or a policy to use PAP if you use external captive portal authentication. Don't forget to setup a radius client first with the right shared secret or every RADIUS request will be reject by the authentication server.

If you want setup PEAP or TLS you have make sure that a service certificate is installed (useable for serverauth). For more information search inside the MS knowledge base.

Best Regards,
Hartmut
