Thanks, Ron agein. I will look for this slides in the extranet portal. I 've contacted an Extreme employee to provide me official access to required documents.
What is the difference between the 5 fairness policies selectable under "VNS -> Wireless QoS -> Flexible Client Access"? In the user guide in could not find any informations what the different values mean/how the fairness algorithmens are implemented.
Hi Hartmut,

here the explanation from the knowledge transfer slides of v7.0 regarding FCA.....

FCA adjustable in 5 levels between:
–Packet Fairness = same as V6R1 but fixes aggregation/non-aggregation ratio
–Airtime Fairness = each client gets a equal share of the airtime

•Intermediate levels will produce result on a geometrical scale
–If the throughput for a client with Airtime Fairness is 16 times larger than with Packet Fairness,
then the intermediate levels will produce approximately 2, 4 and 8 times the throughput.

this was the information I was looking for. Didn't remember that the explanation could be part of the knowledge transfer slides.
Hello Ron, please could you provide the slides? In the extranet the oldest knowledge transfer I found is 7.41.

Or at Extreme Support: please make old knowledge transfers available for partners again, thanks.
As the slides are marked as "Confidential and Proprietary" I don't know whether I'm allowed to post it in the public forum.

So I hope someone from Extreme look into the post and provide the slides or an official statement.
