Hello, all!

Have an AP3805i.
Install guide say that power LED can be red or green

But in my AP3805i only power LED is yellow and steady

Any ideas?

AP was working before, but at one time suddenly stuck with yellow power LED.
Switch with connected AP even can't see MAC address of this AP, so I understand that problem with booting.

But why LED is yellow?

Hello Alexandr,

The color looks like Amber.
It looks the AP initial and discovery in progress via WDS.

Here is the reference, Although the AP mode is difference, I believe that it will be the same

1. From your link:
LED 1 Only
Solid Amber - Discovery finished via WDS, but not in progress.
(in one port of switch is EWC in other port is AP, they in one VLAN)
2. I can't see MAC address of this AP on switch port.

Hello Alexandr,

I think there's an typo on the install guide and "On Red" should be "On Amber".
Quick install guide implies it has Green and Amber colors only on the led.

Install guide for AP3825 says amber means a failure as below.

So how about open a case and I think this will probably be subjected to an RMA.
