Automatic export of Reports

Hi All,

is there a way to export reports under "Reports> Clients-> By VNS" on the EWC automatically via a script?

The normal way is to push the "Export" button on the lower right side on the window. But this is not useful for us!

Several times a day we need info how many client with which MAC addresses are online. This report should be automated. So without login to the controller or the netsight.

Start the NetSight Console, find appropriate flexview from the wireless directory.
Edit the flexview and configure the autoexport parameters. Run the flexview with the timer. Then you will have CSV/HTML version of that flexview exported on the location you want as long as the window with the flexview is open.

Is there a way to schedule export of reports? We need a "AP Performance by Radio" to be exported to xml daily and it's not available via FlexView

Hello Piotr,

there is no scheduler on the wireless controller. But meanwhile there is a easy way to schedule the reports on XMC. You will find the scheduler in Tasks->Scheduled Tasks (create a new one with "Add"). You will find some standard reports to use directly. If you need a more specific report, create your one in Reports->Custom Reports.
