Hi,

it can be easily scripted:
- there is linux running on the controller
- there is CRON running on the controller
- there is CLI on the controller
you can craft such solution if you need it now and you can not wait.

let me know directly (zpala) if you need some guidance.

Regards
Hello, All!

Is it possible to make Feature Reqest?
To add functionality to restrict SSID usage based on the time-of-day.
(As it present in Zebra, Aruba etc.)
Like here is:

A lot of clients asking about this function.

Thank you!

Even though the function is not supported only with identiFi, but similar restriction based on time slot looks available with the EAC (Extreme Access Control). This can't be considerable?

Yes, that function should be useful if it can be available on identiFi itself.
EAC - it's different solution.
For SMB, SOHO, etc. there is no need to buy EAC for time-of-day )))

I think this function have to be "from the box"

Hello, James!

Thank you a lot for comment!
It's more like one more work-around.

BUT it's still using other solution - NetSight or other NMS, But not using the built-in functionality.
We are tracking this feature request and it is being considered for a future program. As James indicated the feature has already being introduced into ExtremeCloud.

Thanks for the feedback!
