Now EWC V10.41 brings newly programmed Airtime Fairness for AP38xx/AP39xx, AP37xx still use the legacy FCA feature.

some details in V10.41 UserGuide and in this GTAC Article:
https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/Q_A/What-is-flexible-client-access-FCA-and-when-a...

The Feature sounds good and necessary - BUT at the end GTAC recommend also to turn this off:

A general guideline is that FCA should only be used where it is believed that legacy clients are affecting 802.11n or 802.11ac throughput

From my understanding Airtime Fairness makes always sense (if you have mixed clients) - if it works properly and without bugs ... I cannot understand why a general recommendation can be turn off till performance issues are detected ??? What is the reason ?

What is about some Statistics or Reports or some show commands to see if Airtime Fairness works well OR should be enabled OR better disabled.
If you look at the other competitive systems they provide this ...

Some feedback like you out there see that is very welcome!

Airtime fairness provides fair access to the medium time for all participants with the same priority. This in contrast with the packet fairness delivered by the 802.11 standard which provides fair access to the medium for all participants, regardless of how much a participant is using the medium. Packet fairness is the default 802.11 access role. Each WLAN participant gets the same (equal) opportunity to send packets. All WLAN clients will show the same throughput, regardless of their PHY rate.

Airtime fairness gives each WLAN participant the same (equal) time access. WLAN clients’ throughput will be proportional to their PHY rate.
