The firmware release notes will state what versions the v2110 image has been tested on. I don't think 6.0 is one of them yet.

9.21.02 Release notes state: The V2110 is supported on ESXi version 5.1 and 5.5

i did read the release notes, the topic and the GTAC article before i asked. i was wondering if anybody knows the release of a new firmware which supports vmware 6.

VMware ESXi 6.0 is currently not a supported/tested configuration. We are working with Engineering on the scope assessment for future/TBD support.
