topic Change AP Active tunnel in ExtremeWireless (Identifi)

How do you get the AP's active tunnel to switch between controllers? We had one controller go down awhile back and the APs connected to the other controller with 0 issues, but now they won't go back leading to all the clients being on one controller. I thought they would switch back automatically after the controller came back up, but it has been quite some time and they have not. Is there a way to force the APs back to their controller as the active tunnel?

You have to select all "Foreign" APs and then from the "Actions" menu "Release" them back to their Local controller. They will never move back automatically on their own. Any time an AP fails over to the opposing "Foreign" controller in a HA pair ... it will stay there until manually "Released".

Thanks for that. I knew it was something like this I was missing but couldn't put my fingers on it. I know to use release to kick it off the controller, but for some reason never processed that it would go back to the other controller. I guess I was thinking it would just release the APs from the network completely.
