AirRanger wont start - Can't create Java VM

Trying to launch AirRanger, and receive
EXCEPTION:
Can't create Java VM
AirRanger.exe then crashes.

What version of Windows are you using?

I was getting this same message after a recent upgrade of my EMS server. Upgrading Java to the "latest and greatest" fixed it for me.

Do you still have this issue? Did you try upgrading Java to the latest?

Still have the issue.
Am running Win10 with the latest Java. I have seen that AirRanger isn't exactly supported on windows 10, however I have run it in the past without issue, and I have two other techs running windows 10 who can run it without issue.

I had come across this too. It doesn't fix the issue.

I found that downgrading my Java Version actually allowed Air Ranger to launch. At time of writing, v8u144 was the latest, I downgraded to 8u91. Air Ranger was then able to launch.
