Hello,

we have a strange problem using our Zebra QLn320 printer on our Extreme Networks IdentiFi network. When using 5GHz only printers doesn't move between APs - they just stay connected on the first that they have connected to. The only solution is to reboot the printer to connect to the nearest AP. On 2.4GHz we don't have this problem. We have the latest firmware installed.

Any advice?

Thank you!

Best wishes

Marko

Hi Marko,

sounds like some kind of a sticky client, not trying to roam. I would focus on checking these printers with Zebra’s support for clarity.

Perhaps Roaming Assist on WiNG APs will help.

Hope that helps,

Tomasz
