Mixing EWC Firmware

Hello,

We are currently running 10.21.X on our C5210 controllers and are planning to upgrade them this month. We mostly have 3935i AP's; however, we still have a good amount of 3710i AP's which appear to only be supported up to the 10.41.12.0006 firmware.

In this case, is it recommended to run the controllers at 10.41.12.0006, or to run them at 10.51.x and just run the 10.41.12.0006 firmware on the 3710i AP's? Thanks!

Joshua,

The 3710 AP's will continue to run version 10.41.12 with any version on both of the firmware tracks.

The latest releases being 10.41.16 and 10.51.05 versions. All things being equal, I would recommend upgrading to 10.51.06 which is expected in late July.

Thanks Jason. One last question. Does 10.51.x contain the AP image for 10.41.12 or do I have to obtain and upload that to the controllers separately?
