Dear, does the AP 3935 need extreme cloud? Or can I work your management from an AP's own GUI?

The AP3935 will work with ExtremeWireless (formerly IdentiFi) or ExtremeCloud; They are not stand alone APs - they need a controller to change their properties. Extreme has virtual controllers if you have a VM environment robust enough to run the VMs.

Also, as workaround you can configure this AP with software controller, configure with Site mode and AP will be working without controller.

But it would be restricted functionality with no statistics.
