Hello Theoadon,

WiNG 5.9.1(.5) should still be able to handle AP621.
Independent model AP6521 is still supported here and controller is supposed to use the same FW package to upgrade this platform

However, take in consideration that official support of AP621 has ended wiht release of WiNG 5.9. That means, in case of any bugs found for AP621 we won't be able to escalate to engineering team.

Also, take in consideration that AP7522 will be delivered with -WR SKU already.
You'll need to run 5.9+ code.

Regards,
Ondrej
AP 621 with new AP 7522 on RFS4000 controller

Hi There,
In one installation we currently have 32 AP 621 with RFS4000 controller. The customer now needs more APs , under the same controller. We are thinking to quote AP7522 .
The problem as we can see based on the release notes of the controller's firmware is:
The controller can be upgraded to 5.9.1.X firmware but the AP621 can not.
The new AP7522 can downgraded until 5.8.6.5 but the AP621 are not supported on this version as I can see on the release notes. The latest firmware version that refers to AP621 seems to be the 5.8.4.X .
Please advice if there is a way to work all APs (621 and new 7522) under the same controller.

Regards,
Thedore.
