Login: reset  Password: DefaultFactory  You will be asked if you want to proceed just type (y) for yes    You may also try this.  Login to your AP  Go to privilege mode by typing "en"  Then type "delete startup-config"  Then type " y" yes  Then type "reload" for the AP to restart    Hope this will help you.       <description>Is the AP connected to a controller?  If yes you should be able to factory reset it there. If not managed by a controller then your only way to reset it is by accessing the console port of AP using a serial console cable following my instruction above.</description>

This is indeed good idea - in later code you can perform remote factory-reset through RF-Domain manager.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
In case it is too difficult to get AP down from ceiling (connect with console) and you are not able to reach affected AP via adopting controller or RFDM, please raise a support case via Extreme Networks Case management portal. &lt;BR /&gt;
I or one of my colleagues will assist you resetting that.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>If The AP is not accessible from the WEB or ssh session, you may be able to access it via a neighboring AP.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Each AP has a unique identifier called a MINT ID. Neighboring APs on the same broadcast domain has a list of it's neighboring APs.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
If you go into one of the neighboring AP via ssh and enter "show mint neighbors" &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
It will produce a list of neighboring APs.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
If you can eliminate the APs that are reachable, you can try to "connect mint-id xx.xx.xx.xx" - where xx.xx.xx.xx is the mint-id of the problem AP.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
If it fails, you will need to utilize the AP-Discovery tool mentioned earlier.&lt;BR /&gt;

It all depends on whether the AP is accessible via the ge 1 port or not.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
If it is, then either SSH into it and run the "delete startup-config" command or use the discovery tool with reset. If using this utility, make sure you reboot the AP first. You are only able to reset it within 10 minutes of the AP being up and running. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
If the ge 1 port is locked (i. e. AP not accessible via the ge port) then your only other option would be to reset it through the console port using baud rate 115200 and the reset/FactoryDefault log in credentials. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;

Any console cable will work. If you don't have a serial connector on your computer then you will need a serial to USB adapter. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Once you've launched putty.exe, select the serial radio button (top right), enter 115200 in the speed field, make sure you are using the correct COM port, and hit "Open". &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Reset per instructions above. &lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;

forget about accessing / factory defaulting the AP.&lt;BR /&gt;
Based on above sequence this is unable to load image properly and if you are locked withing this loop you won't be able to access WiNG OS (allowing you to factory default the AP) nor diag&amp;gt; mode (bootloader).&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
If situation is like this I strongly advise you to RMA this device and get replacement.&lt;BR /&gt;
Was this AP ever working fine or is this DOA?&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Please contact either your distributor / business partner or raise RMA directly.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
