Hello Alona/Bin,

802.11k is enabled now on my network and has greatly helped remove Sticky Clients by increasing performance on mission-critical SSIDs of my Wi-Fi system.

The next step is to enable 802.11v for better roaming. Thanks for fast support!

Hello!

I'm implementing improvements in my company to the Wi-Fi system. I upgraded the controller to WiNG version 5.9.1.3 but did not find anything related to 802.11v.

Could you confirm something development related to this protocol? I saw in a Zebra document two years ago a suggestion for improvements with the implementation of 802.11v.

You need following 3 things:
-802.11k must be enabled on the device for 802.11v to work - under wlan "radio-resource-measurement".
-802.11v bss-transition configuration is supported on the CLI only currently. This command needs to be typed completely on the CLI as of now - under wlan "802.11v bss-transition".
- Create and use roam assist policy to help with sticky clients - roaming-assist-policy and define conditions to envoke it. And thenunder wlan "use roaming-assist-policy .
