The AP licensing is only for the Virtual Controller feature and these licenses (default) cannot be migrated to WLC (Wireless LAN Controllers).

Hello Lukasz,

Please provide us with more details such as:

1 - Are these AAP license you are looking at transferring?
2 - Confirm that both are NX5500 controllers
3 - Is the other controller a replacement unit, is it a new unit?
4 - Do you want to affect a partial or complete transfer of licenses?
5 - If using both controllers, will they be configured in a cluster?
6 - What is the purpose of the license transfer?

Please see answers below

1 - Yes AP Licences
2 - Both will be NX5500 - but these are both at different sites working independently
3 - New
4 - Partial transfer of Licences - we would need some to remain on the system
5 - No - they are for separate sites.

License transfer is not offered directly to customers, please speak to your extreme sales account management team.
