Yes, all current (and past) WiNG-based APs are supported by the VX9000.
What is not supported though are APs configured with WLANs setup in tunneled mode. There's no data plane on the VX9000 and as such, all WLANs operating on the APs have to be configured to operate in bridged mode.

Hi All,

I think the all APs in the Price List are supported by VX9000 (with 5.9.2).
Is it true?

Thanks in advance!
Best Regards,
AP75xx, AP76xx, AP8533, AP8432 are supported.

Always check the firmware release notes to be sure: https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/Q_A/Where-can-I-find-documentation-for-Extreme-Wi...
Good point Chris.
If we narrow the question down to which APs are supported by a VX9K running 5.9.2, then that obviously narrows down the list of supported APs.

Attila...the point here being that even though a VX9000 has the ability to manage any of the WiNG-5 APs, there are certain APs that stopped being supported in WiNG earlier than 5.9.2.

For example, the 650/6532 last version of WiNG was 5.8.6.9. Therefore, if you're VX9000 is running 5.9.2, then you would not be able to manage 650/6532 APs. APs and controller need to be running the same version of WiNG.

Atilla,

Older APs such as the AP6522, AP6562, AP8163 and even the AP7161 are supported in WiNG 5.9.2 per release notes; however you had mentioned APs in the price list and those have long been removed from the price list hence my mention only of more recent ones in my first reply.

Cheers,
Hi Chris and Christoph,

The answers are useful for me.
I need a confirmation that the VX9000 support the 75xx, 76xx, 8432 APs.
Your response confirm my idea.

Thanks, and Best Regards,
