Hi All,

In WInG I would like to figure out how we can check setting that are overriden before to clear the override ?

In the GUI you can go to Configuration --> Devices -->Device Configuration

In the CLI - when you execute command 'show run' you can see the overrides at the end of running configuration,

to remove them:

rfs4000-1C0BD8#en
rfs4000-1C0BD8#config
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
rfs4000-1C0BD8(config)#
rfs4000-1C0BD8(config)#remove-override all
rfs4000-1C0BD8(config)# com w

Also you can get into the controller or AP via CLI and run the following commands:

>en
#self
#show context
This should provide you with info on your overrides.
#remove-override all

Thank you all for your help but it is still no clear for me.
so en cli, every option that comes up when we type show context, it shows a override ?
for instance
ap7632-XXX(config-device-XXX)#show context
ap7632 XXX
use profile XXX
use rf-domain XXX
hostname ap7632-XXX
interface vlan1
no ip dhcp client request options all

no, typically there will be default config such as below:

use profile default-ap7632
use rf-domain default
hostname ap7632-AAB373

any additional lines would be considered overrides
adding the " remove-override all " will remove anything that is an override

Yes this is what I thought,

to remove-override-all, should I type it within AP context or is ther any mean to apply on several AP in one shot ?

via cli you would have to get in to individual APs, but in GUI you can click 'clear-override' (like in first screenshot) for multiple APs

Note with either method you will have to 'commit wire' the changes before they take affect.

In GUI, the clear is dedicated to each AP so I don't think that, clicking on it, would affect all AP.

but potentially if you have all your APs listed/adopted here you can click on all of them
