ADSP is offline statuss from the sensor

Hi Extreme Community,

Please help. We configured two ADSP as Primary and Secondary. But when we checked the status from the sensor (show wireless sensor-server) the Secondary is offline but it is reachable via PING. Is there anything we need to check? or missing configuration?

First, make sure that you are on the latest AirDefense firmware 10.5- w/patch
and make sure that the sensors are on the latest firmware also.

Hi Robert,

Thank you. I tried to shut down the Primary then the Secondary became online status. And when the Primary turn on again it will goes back to online status and the Secondary will became offline again.

While the primary is down, anything new configurations from the secondary will not sync to primary?

Make sure that the backup appliance has ip route to the primary, as there is a keep-alive between the two appliances. if they can not talk to each other than you will have issues like you do.

login to the back up appliance via CLI
type in "letmeout"
then see if you can Ping the primary appliance , do the same from the primary
