topic Is channel 144 support on the roadmap? in ExtremeWireless (WiNG)

I am seeing more and more devices that support channel 144 for 20MHz, 40MHz(140w) and 80MHz(132ww). For example, Zebra recently released support for channel 144 on a significant portion of their android lineup.

While I would never use channel 144 in an environment with legacy devices, I would like to have to option to use this channel in some greenfields where I control the devices.

Hello Fritz,

Looks like we have it in XCA (Extreme Cloud Appliance) for the supported XCA AP models. Since we have it in XCA with adopted WING 5 (AP75xx/AP76xx) and WiNG 7 (AP5xx), I believe its probably not too far out for WiNG 5/WING 7 based controllers/APs.

As Rob pointed out, you may want to touch base with your account team, who can in turn discuss with PLM (Product Line Management).
