PoE Injector Outoor for AP 8163

Hi all,

I am looking to help a client out in choosing the best PoE Injector he can use because the weather conditions are not quite the best for electronic devices (client is next to the sea side so cold winters, always windy, salt air etc.. ) . He had set up his APs using POEInjectors and Media Converters so it hapens from now and then that they fail.

I did some research and found in the AP8163 documentation that it supports this PoE Inj:

AP-PSBIAS-7161-US - OUTDOOR POE INJECTOR WW - OUTDOOR IP66 802.3AT GIGABIT ETHERNET POWER INJECTOR 100-240 VAC INTERNATIONAL

Also looking on the Support Platform I found that there is also this one :

PD-9501GO-ENT - SINGLE PORT 802.3AT PLUS OUTDOOR MIDSPAN - SINGLE PORT 802.3AT PLUS OUTDOOR MIDSPAN

So from your experience which one do you think is better for harsh environments?

Comsa, those are both the same exact PoE injectors. 🙂 Take your pick.
