Hi All,
I'm looking for a bit of guidance, if anyone can assist. The setup is Nortel ( AVAYA ) 5520 ( FW 6.3.6 )
This powers an ENstationAC which is on the local Lan. The ENstationAC is the bridge to a remote building which connects into another Nortel 5520 . The Nortel in the remote building has a VLAN setup (800) and the has the EnstationAC and an AT7131.
The RFS7K can see the AP and reports on the connected devices. so it seems to be working but if I do traceroute from the AP7131 to one of our 3 DNS server its very intermittent but it seems to resolve to our remote office DNS reliably.
So on the Enstation (Local ) this has some tools that you can use and one is Traceroute. This shows the same thing, to the local DNS very hit and miss but to the Remote office it seems to resolve reliably
HI Phil,

can you ping it directly (not using FQDN)?
Check output (on affected AP) for following:
show ip default-gateways show ip name-servers show ip interface brief show ip route That shall give you some overview.Regards,
