I forgot the root password of RFS6000. Could the licenses resistant after reset factory?

A factory reset via the console port will remove the licenses.

Then how to recover the forgotten root password without losing the license?

Actually, even though the license key would be removed with factory default, you CAN still use that license key again after the system is rebuilt. Just copy the license key before before the reset.
As long as the IP address and MAC remain the same, the license key should still work.

How can I restore licenses if I didn't think about saving the file before resetting?
