AP7522 not upgrading with VC

Trying to add a new ap7522 version 5.8.0.0-050R to an existing network with a VC and 5.8.2.0-030R.

The new ap has an IP address and I can reach via CLI and Web GUI. The last same model ap with exact version (5.8.0.0-050R) I plugged into the network and it automatically upgraded to the the VC's version. This ap will not adopt or upgrade.

Any suggestions? TIA

Is the new AP7522 running a default config? Or is it possible that it is running a config from a previous install? If so, first default the AP and try again. There may be something in the config that is affecting is adoption.

Otherwise, what does the VC's auto-provisioning policy look like? Is is setup to allow ANY ap7522...or is it restricted in some way that would prevent this ap7522 from being adopted?

Have you looked at the VC's Pending Adoption listing? If the VC is seeing the adoption attempt but it's being denied for some reason, the Pending adoptions page will show this and the reason why.
