Extreme AP505i-WR - country-code

I'm having an issue with my Extreme AP505i-WR. I've configured most of the settings (cli), but the radios are still turned off. I noticed that there was no country code selected, so I tried changing it. However, every time I select a country, I get the following error message:

"Error setting country of operation. g1 not supported on hardware model AP505i-WR"

I've already set up a wlan and configured the rf-domain. The AP505i-WR version is 10.10.2.0-004R and it runs in standalone mode.

Has anyone encountered this issue or knows how to resolve it? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi Dvd-laufwerk,

When possible, you will need to upgrade the AP to 7.7.1.11 or 7.9.5.1(no GUI available).

Thank you for your response. However, I’m currently facing an issue where I don’t have access to a valid license for my AP505i-WR, as the device was obtained for my apprenticeship training, and the license has already expired. Unfortunately, this means I’m unable to update the firmware as recommended. Is there an alternative way?

10.10.2.0-004R is a WiNG centralized version that is used on XCC/XCA/XIQ-C controlled "DUAL" boot APs such as AP41xx3xx/5xxi APs.
For WiNG Disturbuted "Stand Alone" mode you will need to be on WiNG 7.7.1.x or 7.9.x code.
It might be possible that the secondary partition has a WiNG stand alone image.
