Solution
Here are the Stacking and Licensing guidelines for the SecureStack product line:

You may stack from one to eight C5-Series units using C5 firmware.

For Stacking cables, use the STK-CAB-xxxxx (30cm STK-CAB-SHORT, 1m STK-CAB-LONG, 2m STK-CAB-2M, 5m STK-CAB-5M).
For Advanced Router/IPv6 licensing, use the C5L3-LIC (13130).

You may stack from one to eight C3-Series units using C3 firmware.

For Stacking cables, use the C2CAB-xxxxx (5668) or the newer STK-CAB-xxxxx.
For Advanced Router licensing, use the C3L3-LIC (5828).
For IPv6 Router licensing, use the C3IPV6-LIC (5873).

You may stack from one to eight C3-Series and C2-Series units (any models, except no more than seven C2G124-48 / C2G124-48P / C2K122-24) all using C2 firmware 5.00.28 or higher, with a C3 unit in the Manager role (12760).

For Stacking cables, use the C2CAB-xxxxx (5668) or the newer STK-CAB-xxxxx.
For Advanced Router licensing, use the C2L3-LIC (5828).

You may stack from one to eight C2-Series units (any models, except no more than seven C2G124-48 / C2G124-48P / C2K122-24) using C2 firmware.

For Stacking cables, use the C2CAB-xxxxx (5668) or the newer STK-CAB-xxxxx.
For Advanced Router licensing, use the C2L3-LIC (5828).

You may stack from one to eight B5-Series units using B5 firmware.

For Stacking cables, use the STK-CAB-xxxxx (30cm STK-CAB-SHORT, 1m STK-CAB-LONG, 2m STK-CAB-2M, 5m STK-CAB-5M).

You may stack from one to eight B3-Series units using B3 firmware.

For Stacking cables, use the C2CAB-xxxxx (5668) or the newer STK-CAB-xxxxx.
For Policy licensing, use the B3POL-LICxx (5781).

You may stack from one to eight B3-Series and B2-Series units all using B2 firmware 4.00.22 or higher, with a B3 unit in the Manager role (12760).

For Stacking cables, use the C2CAB-xxxxx (5668) or the newer STK-CAB-xxxxx.
For Policy licensing, use the B2POL-LICxx (5781).

You may stack from one to eight B2-Series units, using B2 firmware.

For Stacking cables, use the C2CAB-xxxxx (5668) or the newer STK-CAB-xxxxx.
For Policy licensing, use the B2POL-LICxx (5781).

You may stack from one to eight A2-Series units, using A2 firmware.

For Stacking cables, use standard Cat5 or higher grade 8-conductor RJ45 straight-through cables (5660).

A useful guideline that can help to clarify inter-stackability is that models which may be stacked together are listed together in the output of a given 'show switch switchtype' query (5751).
