Symptoms
Only 802.1x is offered as an authentication method.

Cause
The only authentication type supported in the default "Strict X" or single-user mode is 802.1x.

Once Multi-User Authentication (5468) is enabled in Policy Manager or via cli command '

code:

set multiauth mode multi

', this permits the use of 802.1x, PWA, MAC authentication, and/or CEP detection.
