Products
SecureStack C3, C2, B3, B2, A2

Symptoms
Updating or changing the Boot Prom software.

Solution
The boot prom software is upgraded automatically during the process of upgrading the firmware (5605), if the new firmware has a newer version of boot prom. If the unit is downgraded to a previous firmware version, the boot prom is not automatically downgraded.

There is no need to downgrade the boot prom; and in general, all firmware versions are compatible with all boot prom versions. When in doubt, please refer to the "BOOTPROM COMPATIBILITY:" section of firmware release notes.
