Hello!

I have acquired some AP121 units and I would like to manually update its firmware. How and where can I download the firmware files for it? I do not have a support contract for it.

Hello Ed,

the AP121 is a cloud driven AP. The hole management and for example the softwareupdate is done via a cloud managment.
You can create an account here: https://extremecloudiq.com/entry
After first login you can choose a free account (=XIQ connect) with a smaller featureset.

Hello Ed,

yes you can update the AP via GUI and configure the AP via CLI is impractical and that is not what the CLI is for.
If you don't want to connect your AP to the cloud, the AP121 is not right for you. There are many APs on the market that work standalone (also from Extreme), which is certainly a better solution.

Hi All.

similar problem I have encountered. My 121's don't want to update from 6.4.1.0 through cloud. I have a plan to upgrade manually but I don't have access to firmware. Is there way out?
