James, thank you for this very good question! The answer is yes - we are working on sending out more notifications for EOS, NetSight and IdentiFi related to major firmware releases with the improved Extreme Notifcation Service going forward.

I am happy to announce that we have just completed two improvements related to the Extreme Networks Support website.

End of Sale and End of Support
The Extreme Networks product and software End of Life related materials have been consolidated into one new page which lists the End of Sale and End of Support details for all Extreme Networks products in one place. The new End of Sale and End of Support page includes the following:

Products that have already reached or will meet End of Sale in the next six months

Products that have reached End of Support

Summary of the Extreme Networks software lifecycle

Links to the most recent end of sale announcements

Extreme Networks Notification Service
We have updated and improved the Extreme Networks Notification Service to include all of the Extreme Networks products. You can use the Extreme Notification Service form to sign up to receive emails about the Extreme Networks products that you are interested in. The emails will keep you updated on software release announcements and service notifications (Vulnerability Notices, Field Notices, Product Change Notices and so forth). You can change your preferences, add and remove products, or unsubscribe at any time.
