New Design for The Hub!

Notice something different here? The Hub is the first of our platforms to be updated with our new digital/web color scheme!
Feedback is welcomed. If something doesn't look or feel right, we want to know.

I really like the digital colour pattern ..... but not together with purple... sorry.

Or will you replace the rest of the purple icons with digital so it looks like this...

Ron, the problem with changing the color of the bar there is that it is tied to other colors that we want to keep purple (or maybe we don't?).

Nice scheme except the purple does draw your eyes which is OK if you are wanting people to notice the purple bar.

I just changed the purple to match the darker grey from the top border. This also changes the color of several headings across the site, but that should be okay.
How's that work for you guys?

Did I say we were listening....nice work Drew.

Every time we reduce the amount on Purple, inevitably someone says that "it looks too much like Cisco". I think the majority of our customers really like the purple.

Maybe we have just enough now. I do like the new look.

Thanks for making that adjustment. I do like the purple. It is very eye catching so it just has to be used strategically.

Drew, nice and clean, but the light blue text on a white background does not provide for much contrast and can increase eye strain over time....my 2 cents

Tony, I've got similar concerns. That's why we're trying it here. The design team will get all of the feedback 🙂
Maybe we need to move to a darker shade of blue.

It's OK, I guess. I'm not a big fan of "microsofting" everything with rectangular (50?) shades of grey (or other colorshades), but that seems to be the thing to do now. I also agree with Tony on the blue shade/contrast issue.
What's with the green frame around the gravatars? Was that always green, or did that used to be purple? (So yeah, grown man here, and I like the "Extreme Purple". Don't pull my man card  )

That being said, if it's readable, if I find my way around, it'll be fine. Content beats (almost) all.

I see - sorry, I guess now that I'm looking at *everything*, it all starts looking weird - and I can't remember the details of the old color scheme, questioning everything.

Drew should switch every full hour between old & new style so we'd see the difference 

It is really great to see all this User feedback on the Hub's new design.

Drew works very hard behind the scenes to ensure these changes are not disruptive to the Extreme Community. Seems we've done that and received a few nice suggestions to consider going forward.

Our goal is continual improvement and your feedback is a big part of that. Thanks again for sharing!
