Hi Miriam,

I use a VLAN in a vrf as ip tunnel source-address on VOSS 8.2.7.0 on few XA.

What you need to double check is that you don’t have an i-sid on this VLAN.

As it is used for the tunnel, it cannot rely on the Fabric for the transport.

Regards

Mig

Dear experts,

I was configuring ISIS tunnel on an XA 1400 with the VOSS1400.8.2.7.0 firmware using the command

ip-tunnel-source-address x.x.x.x vrf vrf_name

I got this error:

Error: Must be IP address of circuitless interface or brouter IP

The IP address use as ip tunnel source is an interface vlan IP

I've configured many XA with older firmware version without this type of problem.

Could be releated to the firmware 8.2?

In a different post I found this information:

"the ip-tunnel-source-address a VLAN IP (supported on XA since 8.1.5.0 and on VOSS VSPs since 8.3.0.0)"

Is this command supported in version 8.2?

Thank you for support.
Regards
