Hello Dear,
Now I'm ready to add new devices on my (only use)Extreme networks, Also I'm using ring topology on EAPS now.

But, in this time I needed use other vendor devices. so I have question about ERPS(G8032)

1. If I were using other vendor devices(Cisco or Alcatel) on my network(only Extreme, use EAPS)
Can i add and use a sub ring(ERPS)?

2. Follow the 1, Can I use mixing 2 protocols(EAPS + ERPS) on main ring?

3. If I could complete and use follow the 1 and 2, Can you tell me any announced problems?

4. If I could not make that 1 and 2, Can you explain to me reason for this problem?

Thank you. Waiting your reply.

First. You may lookup ERPS Vs EAPS.

https://community.extremenetworks.com/extreme/topics/eaps_or_erps_differences

My advice is never mix them even if its doable.

"Just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should"

It will save you from administration and troubleshooting headache.
Dear Leong,

Thanks for your reply, but I need reference now for my clients.
Hi,

You may refer to here. If you dealing with multiple vendors, stick with standards.
