Unfortunately, you can't just take the .cfg file (XML config) from an X450e and load it on an X460-G2. The best way to do this would be to capture the output of '&lt;B&gt;show config&lt;/B&gt;' from the X450e, then load it onto the X460-G2. You could also save this as an .xsf script file, then run it on the X460-G2 with the '&lt;B&gt;run script&lt;/B&gt;' command.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>You shouldn't have any trouble with this.  I would recommend scrolling through the config and confirm your port numbers are correct.  The X450e had "combo ports" whereas the X460-G2 does not.  Port numbers for any XGM modules will not be the same for the VIMs on the X460-G2.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Could be some other things that are handled a bit different to such as acl's or policy's.. Drew is correct as safest bet would be to past old to new 5 or 6 lines at a time checking for errors... If your port numbers don't match up you just have to compare how they are configured and change the config accordingly.</description>
