Hi, I have used patch panels on both sides and crossover patch codes to interconnect x450a-48p switches.. but am getting request timeouts on host computers.. and switches blink like stp problem (cisco).. NB i have fibre interconnecting switches.. i need to add ethernet to increase bandwidth but now am confused. Please advise.. thanks

You need to build ether channel on Cisco side, and lacp lagg on extreme side. Also, you don't need to use crossover patches, because ports are auto MDI/MDI-x

If you want to use two (or more) parallel connections between two switches to increase bandwidth, you need to configure port sharing (also known as a Link Aggregation Group (LAG) or a Port-Channel).
