    <description>Take backup of configs and do power shutdown .&lt;BR /&gt;
There is no specific way of shutting down in extreme.&lt;BR /&gt;
Its as normal as any device.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Once switches are up check connectivity by doing Ping test and browse your normal applications.</description>
