Setting Reference Image - Firmware Tab

We recently installed Extreme Management 8.0.5.18. After reading the documentation, I understand that I should be able to set a different Reference Image to specific "binary families of devices". I understand that that I can set one reference image for our X440 switches, and another for our X440G2 switches.

Is my understanding not correct? For example, when I try to set an image for X440 switches, it overrides the image set for X440G2. When I set the X440G2 image it overrides the X440. It seems as if I can only select one image that is the reference image for every device type.

Hello Rick,

I've checked into this and it does appear to be a bug. I've informed Engineering and they are expecting to get this resolved in 8.1.3 which is currently scheduled for mid-late May release.
