Hello Nagaraj

All of the APs support the ability to detect rogue devices. They can do this while servicing clients on a particular channel or you can set them as a sensor. For APs like the 4610 and 4620 one radio can be set as a sensor and the other set to either 2.4 or 5Ghz. The 4511 is a single radio so if it is set to sensor then it can not service users.

I hope that helps

I need clarification on the basic wips and advance wips, what exactly it differs.

I need steps to perform detecting rogue on particulate channel and setting particular radio as a sensor
This should give you a good explanation of the differences between basic and advanced. To set it up just create the policy and apply it to the controller.

I'm going to move this to its own thread to keep this one on topic 🙂 Please reference the new conversation here: How to factory default an Altitude AP4511?

Hello Vo,

There are two ways to reset the unit to factory defaults.
To revert to factory default configuration using the
hardware reset button on the bottom of the unit:
1. Remove power from the AP
2. Using a paper clip, press and hold the reset button
on the back of the unit. The reset button is located
on the serial label, below the words "part number"
3. Apply power by connecting a PoE source
4. The amber LED will blink slow three times
5. When ithe Amber LED blinks fast, release
the button
6. The AP will continue to boot in its default configu-
ration state

From the webUI, navigate to the Operations main menu.Select Reset (factory default) from the menu at the
bottom of the page. Click Execute
