Differece between EXOS & EOS


Hi,

Sorry I'm a new on Extreme world so I want to know what is the difference between these two courses on Extreme training

ExtremeXOS Switching and Routing

ExtremeEOS Switching and Routing

Is it between Old and new OS and if yes, Does the old OS still supported.

Hi,

The ExtremeXOS - is our EXOS Swithes - X450, X460, etc. The ExtremeEOS is our Switches that were acquired from Enterasys, S-Series, K-Series.

EOS is the old Enterasys line of products. Purchased by Extreme Networks in 2013, some products are still available for purchase.

XOS is the Extreme (purple color switches) Line of products.

Both are still supported by GTAC,
