Extreme Networks Self-Paced Training

Userlevel 4
The Technical Training organization has close to 10 hours of recorded lecture content that are online, Self-Paced and free. These 17 modules encompass topics across general networking concepts, ExtremeXOS configurations including scripting basics, and ExtremeEOS configurations capabilities.

These modules are available to Partners, Customers, and Extreme Employees and can be located right off our Extranet as well as PartnerNet. Here is the link to the new self-paced materials: https://extranet.extremenetworks.com/MySupport/MyTraining/Web-Based-Training(WBT)/Pages/default.aspx

In order to view the self-paced material, you will need to register for a Support Portal account at the URL below, if you do not already have an account: https://secure.extremenetworks.com/register.aspx

Once you have registered you will be able to login to your account and navigate to the ‘Training and Certifications’ section, and then on the right hand side of the page under ‘My Training’ you will see a link to ‘eLearning Modules’.

I dont have corporte email. Is it means that I canot do any exame from Extreme such as ENA ?
Where is I could subscribe to participate the exam to get one certification such as ENA?

The exam is NOT free, you'd either attend the official class and the exam voucher is included in the classroom fee OR buy a exam voucher separate.

You could read more about training/classes/certification here....

How could I buy the vaucher separetetly? Please tell me a link to subscrib... Thanks

Hi,

So the ENA Certification was replaced by the ECNA-XOS Certification almost 2 years ago. Here is a link to our current certifications:

http://www.extremenetworks.com/education/certifications/

If you would like to purchase an exam voucher you can purchase either by Credit Card from our Extranet/Support Site (you would need a login username/password - which is also needed to take the exam) or you can purchase the exam from your local distributor.

https://extranet.extremenetworks.com/MySupport/MyTraining/_layouts/apps/training/exampurchase.aspx

You will also find some free self-paced training that can help with your exam on this same site.

Hi, Sorry , but I dont have corporat e-mail to subscrib in this link that you Just send me. What should I do? Thanks....
Userlevel 4
Ok, that will be a problem for the existing exam engine. So you would have to purchase via your distributer and once the order is submitted, an exam code will be created. However instead of taking the exam on the support portal you will need to get in touch with the Education department at Extreme and we will give you access to the new Learning Management System (LMS). The new LMS does not have the same restrictions as our Support portal.

I send a mesage tô LMS to e-mail you give me, but anyone answer me. Do you have another way tô contact the LMS?
only with this material I could be pass in the exam ?
Hi Suzanne,

After PartnerNet moved to the New Extreme Portal the link to access the Extreme Networks Self-Paced Training is not redirecting to the new self-paced materials. Can you please provide steps on how to access it again or a new link would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

You should be able to access the new Extreme Training Portal either through the Support > Training and Certification Links or by Partner Training page.

Once you enter the Training Portal, select the “Training” icon on the top of the screen, this will provide you visibility into the available categories of training based on your contact record (employee, partner or customer). You will find a filter for the free eLearning materials. If you don't have an Extreme Portal account you can view the details of the training using this link https://extremenetworks.netexam.com/catalog.html, however to enroll you will need to create an Extreme Portal account. You will be directed to that page during the enrollment process.

We are still working on a few minor issues with the Learning Portal once these have been resolved I will post a FAQ on the new Training Portal.

Stay tuned for as we continue to add more basic training courses to our "free" eLearning materials.

Please send an email to education@extremenetworks.com . There was a data import issue with older certification that caused a few issues when retaking some of the exams.

The following free courses are available on the Learning portal today, we are planning to add a few more withing the next couple of months.
- ExtremeWireless WiNG Technical Overview
- Introduction to ExtremeEOS
- Introduction to ExtremeXOS
- Wireless LAN Fundamentals
there does not seem to be any way to access them . are these instructor live only?
Userlevel 4
No, there are on the Learning Portal, you will need to create an Extreme Portal first to access them. See the FAQ above on how to Accessing the Learning Portal, within this document there is a link to create an Extreme Portal Account and how to access the portal once you have been authenticated.
have you yourself tried to access the courses or you just keep giving the generic answer. i have a login . There is no way to actually get to a courses. I can find schedules for instructor led classes but nothing more. why don't you try to access the supposed online courses and then post the method

i tried in multiple browsers. even though i have a login if i click enroll and then click register , the button does not work. It also looks like you are using flash which is being disabled in chrome and firefox and edge and soon in ie
any update on this?
also get this after logging in
