Change Airflow and make the OS recognize the change

I changed the airflow with command chassis fan...It seems that the direction was changed, but the show bare-metal output:

PS1 is faulty
PS2 is faulty

-- Fan Status --
Fan 1 is Faulty
Fan 2 is Faulty
Fan 3 is Faulty
Fan 4 is Faulty
Fan 5 is Faulty

Is there anyway to change these status?
The firmware is &.4.1e

Which VDX platform are you using? The faulty status could be due to the fan direction mismatch. Have you tried reloading the chassis after changing the fan direction to clear the faulty status?
