XCC Guest Registration missing features from NAC/V2110

XCC Guest Registration missing features from NAC/V2110

Hi Guys,

I'm preparing a LAB environment to stage for one of my customer's migration from V2110 V10 to XCC 5.

There's a lot of new functionalities added from the customer's actual environment in using XCC, like it is a "mini NAC". BUT, besides the functions are still inside it, many features are NOT available.

One of the caveats I'm hitting on is the Guest Registration… The customer uses today the good-old IdentiFi GuestPortal, so there's always someone trusted inside the company to create the Guest accounts and make sure there's no collaborators or unauthorized persons using the Guest Network: In XCC there's no option like this...

Meanwhile, a feature that could help is missing: the SPONSOR feature from NAC (is inside the appliance, but not available in the GUI). If we had this feature working, it should be an workaround to keep the customer happy with his "strict control over guests policy".

Any ideas?

Hi Leo,

I believe you can do it on XCC as well. To generate and manage single or bulk user accounts, go to https:// < ip-address of portal interface>/pre_registration. This will give you a login screen, use admin/Extreme@pp as username and password.

Here are some screenshots for you:

Generate users

Print or simply tell users the credentials
